Why is FANFAN going outside? And what's out there, anyway?
FANFAN lives in a one-room apartment. They eat cereal, watch static on TV, and water a houseplant that refuses to grow. One morning, the front door is open. So FANFAN walks through it.
What's outside? Meadows that hum with insects. Towns where everyone's got a problem only a total stranger can solve. Ruins that remember things the locals have forgotten. It's a lot for someone who's never seen grass before.
No quest markers, no glowing paths. Walk into the forest because it looks interesting. Climb a hill because you want to see what's on the other side. The world rewards curiosity.
Every NPC has something to say — and some of them are lying. Help a baker find their missing cat, argue with a bridge troll about toll fees, or just sit and listen.
Check behind waterfalls. Read the fine print on signs. Try using items in weird combinations. The game notices when you're being nosy — and it appreciates it.
No timers. No health bars. No fail states. Sit by a river and watch the pixels shimmer. The game doesn't rush you, and neither should you.
